Christmas Craft Parties

Well it is coming up that time of year.  Argggg some would say, and to be honest, when the first Christmas craft displays started showing themselves in the local shops in late August I had to immediately text everyone I knew to demonstrate my disgust at how early Christmas had started...However!!!!! I have decided there is too little time, when now in October, I have far too much to do!  I declared this year there would be 'NO MORE' Handmade Christmas cards for anyone and so far all the card making items are still safely stashed away in their respective boxes.  Don't let me fool you  though, there is Christmas everywhere in my craft room!

This year I am branching out into giving crafty parties and workshops.  After my very successful demo to the lovely WI from Dorchester I now have a party and another workshop booked.  As Christmas is nearing the theme for these will be ..... (wait for it).....CHRISTMAS (surprised?).

Here are some of my creations, I will be making them into kits to buy so you can make them yourself or if your local you could always book a party and you and your friends can make some while having a glass of wine and friendly banter.

Here we have two handbag boxes, lidded box, exploding box and a treat pocket.

Here is a close up of the treat  pocket.  An easy little craft which can be used for teacher gifts, friend gifts, tree decorations or even advent calendars.

This is the exploding Box close up.  Once the lid is removed the sides fall down to reveal a card and 3D Christmas tree.

Here are some of the creations the ladies at my last party created! We had a wonderful time and I was so impressed at all those creative juices flowing around!

Everyone got the chance to make a Handbag box with card and a treat pouch.  There was also time for some tea and cake and a raffle!  What a wonderful afternoon.  Thank you ladies.

If you would be interested in a party or demonstration don't hesitate to contact me on bouncytigglet@hotmail.com.  Keep checking here as new courses will be added soon.

New ReJenisis bags

Well I realise I have been totally terrible in keeping my blog up to date! thought I would post a couple of new pics. I have been busy experimenting with new bag designs and here are two of my latest creations!

Both these bags are made from upcycling unloved fabrics! the top bag has such a lovely soft lining with inside pocket and safety clip to attach your keys or phone (or child if you so wish!)

the bottom bag I have adopted as my work bag! I love it!  Whenever i make something new I try to use a sample to make sure the design is right and comfortable.  This bag has been great but I have learnt that the handles need to be a little longer, I like to get a bag over my shoulder sometimes and these are a little small!  The top bag has longer handles and is much more comfortable.

Top bag is currently for sale.  I will set up a new ReJenisis page soon so include everything available for sale and prices!

ReJenisis and the Bobs!

Well what a busy holiday! So sad all that creative time will be limited now as back to work! Still I have had fun! ReJenisis has become quite a thing! feel free to pop over to  http://www.facebook.com/ReJenisis  to find out all the goodies I have been making.

The Recycled nature of the products I have created has really captured peoples attention and it is so lovely to have so many new fans who are enthused about the ethos of giving something recyclable a breath of new life!

ReJenisis also made it's first sales since opening it's virtual doors and that provided huge amounts of excitement! mainly involving me skipping around the house!

The next exciting bit of holiday news has to be the Bobs!!!

The Bob revolution has certainly taken over our house! What started as a fun summer holiday activity has evolved into something so much bigger! The Bobs have their own page on facebook, http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Bobs/411736175550743 there are fab iconic pictures featuring some of the many unique Bobs ...

'Bobby Road'

'Bobs on a girder over London'

They have even starred in their own video!

Hope you enjoy!!!

Would be lovely if you pop over and say hi to the Bobs, they do get so lonely!! And if you feel in a kindly mood then why not rehome one of the little monsters!

There are even a few Christmassy ones ready to look fab on your Christmas tree!
